Autumn candles

Autumn candles are made for the first cool evenings: the lamps on early, a jumper back out of the drawer and something warm in the air. Our autumn fragrances lean warm, woody and comforting.

Pumpkin Latte is our pumpkin spice candle, with nutmeg, orange and ginger over caramel, tonka and vanilla. Honey & Oak pairs honey and soft tobacco with sandalwood and amber. Fireside brings cedarwood, amber and warm spices, lifted with bergamot and lemon leaf. Cosy, one of our four Signatures, wraps sandalwood and saffron in amber, musk and vanilla. Honey & Oak and Fireside are retiring once their last oil is poured, so enjoy them while they last.

Every candle is delicately hand-poured here in beautiful Dorset and cured for no less than two weeks. The small candle has one wick and burns for about 35 hours; the large has three wicks and burns for about 60. On its first light, let the wax melt right to the edge, about three hours, so it burns evenly every time after.

Between candles, try an autumn wax melt in a tea-light or electric burner, a reed diffuser in the hallway, or a few sprays of room mist before friends arrive.
