Summer candles

Summer candles are for long, light evenings: doors open onto the garden, the last of the sun on the windowsill and nobody in a hurry. Our summer fragrances are warm, floral and bright.

Sunkissed is our coconut fragrance and our one fragrance just for summer: creamy coconut and white tiare flower over sandalwood, vanilla and tonka, opening with soft nutty notes and hawthorn. White Musk & Jasmine sets jasmine and mimosa over soft white musk, with a crisp, clean finish. Poppy brings soft rose and lily over sandalwood and musk. Rhubarb & Rose is bright and fruity, with rhubarb, rose, lime and grapefruit; it is retiring once our last oil is poured. Lemongrass & Ginger is zesty and fresh, with lemongrass, ginger and citrus.

Every candle is delicately hand-poured in Dorset and cured for no less than two weeks. The small candle has one wick and burns for about 35 hours; the large has three wicks and burns for about 60.

On warm days, when a candle feels like too much, a reed diffuser gives a steady fragrance with no flame, and a few sprays of room mist freshen a room in a moment; both are made in Dorset. Our wax melt snap bars are hand-poured in Dorset and give about 20 hours of fragrance in a tea-light or electric burner.
