Poppy is one of our spring and summer fragrances: a soft, pretty floral that is gentle rather than sweet. It opens with bright bergamot and a crisp note of apple skin, blooms into lily and rose, and settles on a warm base of vanilla, patchouli, sandalwood and musk. It is lovely in a bedroom or by the bath, and an easy gift for anyone who loves flowers.
The Poppy candle is delicately hand-poured in Dorset and cured for no less than two weeks, in two sizes: the small, with one wick and about 35 hours of burning, or the large, with three wicks and about 60 hours. The 50 g wax melt snap bar is hand-poured in Dorset too and gives about 20 hours of fragrance in a tea-light or electric burner.
For fragrance without a flame, the 100 ml reed diffuser lasts up to 12 weeks and the 800 ml large reed diffuser 9 to 12 months. The 100 ml room mist freshens a bedroom or a hallway in a few sprays. All three are made in Dorset.
