Spring candles

Spring candles are made for the first bright mornings: windows open, fresh flowers on the table and something light in the air. Our spring fragrances are fresh, floral and fruity.

Poppy sets soft rose and lily over sandalwood, vanilla and musk, lifted by bergamot and apple skin. Rhubarb & Rose brings tart rhubarb and rose with lime and grapefruit, over strawberry and musk; it is retiring once our last oil is poured, so enjoy it while it lasts. White Musk & Jasmine pairs jasmine and mimosa with soft white musk and a fresh touch of orange. Lemongrass & Ginger is zesty and clean, with lemongrass, ginger, lemon and lime.

Every candle is delicately hand-poured in Dorset and cured for no less than two weeks. The small candle has one wick and burns for about 35 hours; the large has three wicks and burns for about 60. On its first light, let the wax melt right to the edge, about three hours, so it burns evenly every time after.

For fragrance without a flame, choose a reed diffuser or a room mist, both made in Dorset, or a wax melt snap bar for a tea-light or electric burner. Lemongrass & Ginger also comes as a hand wash and a hand & body lotion, vegan friendly, for the kitchen sink or the bathroom.

All four fragrances stay with us into summer, when Sunkissed joins them.
